Easy fix that gets rid of that dang “click” the seat belt would make.  Make sure you properly re-torque seat belt bolt, I used 29 foot lbs.

Parts:

Tools:

  • Flat Head Screwdriver

  • Pliers

  • Torque Wrench

  • 17mm Socket that fits torque wrench

  • Tools of choice or small flat blade screwdriver to separate parts

My total time was about a ½ hour.

Flat head screwdriver to remove front drivers plastic trim:
Remove any clips that remain with some type of pliers:
Start by removing the lower B pillar panel, grab the bottom and pull:
Now the top trim, again grab the bottom and pull:
This is the back of bottom panel.  The top arrows represent the hooks, the bottom are clips:
This is the back of the top panel.  The top is a hook, the bottom are clips:
Now remove the bolt that holds the seatbelt, it a 17mm:
This is the piece we are replacing:
Old left and New right, big difference:
Tool of choice to remove old ring:
Rings and clip that holds the things in place:
New one installed:
